ClearHost uses OAuth 2.0 to connect to your Google Ads and Meta accounts. We never store your advertising platform passwords. We request only the minimum API scopes needed to create, manage, and report on campaigns. You can revoke access at any time from your ClearHost dashboard or directly from your Google/Meta account settings.
Data Ownership
Your advertising accounts, campaigns, creative assets, and all performance data remain fully owned by you. ClearHost is a tool that acts on your behalf — we do not claim ownership of any campaign data. If you disconnect or delete your account, all advertising data is removed from our systems within 90 days.
How We Use Your Data
We access your Google Ads data solely to provide campaign management and reporting services within ClearHost. This includes reading campaign performance metrics, creating and editing campaigns, and providing AI-powered optimization recommendations. We do not use your Google Ads data for any other purpose, and we never share it with third parties.
Policy Compliance
ClearHost complies with the Google Ads API Terms of Service, the Google API Services User Data Policy, and Meta Platform Terms. All campaigns created through ClearHost must comply with Google Ads advertising policies and Meta advertising standards. ClearHost does not control ad approval or disapproval decisions — these are made by Google and Meta respectively.
Security
All advertising data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. OAuth tokens are stored using industry-standard encryption and are never exposed in logs or client-side code. Access to advertising API integrations is restricted to authorized ClearHost services only.
